Ailing Yasin Malik again lodged in jail
Dec 24th, 2014 | Category: Kashmir NewsIn occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities have shifted the illegally detained ailing Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, from Srinagar’s Soura Medical Institute to district jail Islamabad.
Muhammad Yasin Malik was continuing hunger strike for the past four days against the highhandedness of Indian police and troops in the territory when he was shifted to the jail. “The authorities of Soura Medical Institute visibly under pressure from police and authorities discharged ailing Muhammad Yasin Malik from hospital and handed him over to police. During four days of hunger strike, Yasin Malik’s blood pressure was low but the police shifted him to Islamabad jail where he is continuing his hunger strike,” a JKLF spokesman said in a statement in Srinagar.
He said that besides being a heart patient, the JKLF Chief had been diagnosed with multiple stones in kidneys.
Meanwhile, a candle light rally was taken out at Maisuma to protest the shifting of Yasin Malik to Islamabad jail. Led by JKLF zonal organizer, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, the candle light protest march was attended by women, youth and elders along with members of Lal Chowk traders’ federation.
It is to mention here that Muhammad Yasin Malik was shifted from Islamabad jail to Soura Medical Institute on 18th December after his health deteriorated in the jail.
