Srinagar, January 21 : In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, has reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the ongoing liberation movement till it reaches its logical conclusion.

Yasin Malik led a big procession from Maisuma to Basant Bagh in Srinagar, to mark the martyrdom anniversary of over 50 innocent Kashmiris who were massacred by Indian troops at Gaw Kadal in Srinagar on this day in 1990. People on the occasion raised forceful anti-India and pro-liberation slogans.

Addressing the demonstrators, the JKLF Chairman while paying rich tributes to the Gaw Kadal martyrs said that their mission would be accomplished at all costs. He deplored that the Kashmiris were being killed in an effort to suppress their liberation struggle. Yasin Malik called upon the people of the occupied territory to observe civil curfew on 26th January, the Indian Republic Day, to convey to New Delhi that they reject its illegal occupation on their homeland.
