22-year-old youth killed by Sarpanch in IHK

Srinagar, January 17 : In occupied Kashmir, a 22-year youth, Nasir Ahmed Dar was beaten to death by the Indian authorities-sponsored Sarpanch in Bandipore.Nasir Ahmad Dar who was the sole bread-earner for the poor family of four sisters and two brothers was found dead near Sultanpora village on the outskirts of Sumbal tehsil in the district.

The villagers of the areas told media men that the youth was killed by the Sarpanch on January 13.

The 22-year-old youth, Nasir Ahmed Dar was beaten to death by the Sarpanch on a theft charge.

The Sarpanch had lodged a complaint with police alleging that Dar had “barged into his house recently and stolen many things.” “Before police could decide on the complaint, the Sarpanch, along with his accomplice beat Nasir to death in broad daylight,” Nasir’s family said.
