Sacrifices of Kashmiri Martyrs will not go Waste: Zafar Butt

In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), Zafar Akbar Butt, has said that sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs will not go waste and the Kashmir liberation movement will be taken to its logical end at all costs.

According to Media sources, Zafar Akbar Butt along with a party delegation visited Shopian and expressed solidarity with the families of youth, who were recently martyred by Indian troops. He paid glowing tributes to the martyrs, Arshad Ahmed Sheikh and Abid Hussain Rather.

Addressing mourners on the occasion, he said that the morale of Kashmiri people was very high and they would never compromise on their birthright to self-determination. He urged India to fulfill the commitment of its first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, and give the Kashmiris their birthright to self-determination. He appealed to the international community to take cognizance of human rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory.

The APHC leader also condemned the use of force against peaceful protesters by Indian forces in Shopian town and expressed solidarity with the inured persons.

Zafar Akbar Butt was accompanied by party leaders, Maulana Rafiq, Adnan Kashmiri, Fayaz Butt, Muhammad Shafi Kashmiri, Ajaz Beg and Shabbir Ahmad.
