Srinagar, June 11 : In occupied Kashmir, a silent protest sit-in led by President of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Forum, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo was held at the Press Colony in Srinagar on Monday.
Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Musaddaq Aadil, Abdul Hameed, president of traders and manufacturers association, Sajjad Hussain, Wamiq Farooq’s father, Farooq Ahmad Wani and relatives of other martyrs participated in the sit-in.
The participants appealed the international community and the UN Human Rights Commission to help give exemplary punishment to the Indian troops and police personnel involved in the killing of 122 innocent Kashmiri youth during the 2010 peaceful mass uprising in the occupied territory.
They said that Indian judiciary was partial and did not provide justice to Kashmiris. They said that Indian troops were massacring the people of Kashmir under the black laws and demanded of the world community and justice-loving nations to play role in stopping human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
