Kashmir turned into Police state: JKLF, condemns Malik’s house arrest
Sep 11th, 2013 | Category: Kashmir NewsJammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has strongly condemned the house arrest of its Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik. According to JKLF spokesman, Police on Monday night cordoned the house of Yasin Malik and confined him to his room.
Terming the arrest as undemocratic act of government, the spokesman said that on one hand rulers and their forces kill innocents by unleashing a reign of terror throughout Kashmir and on other, resistance leaders are arrested and their movement is being curbed.
“This clearly shows that Kashmir is ruled by “Jungle law” and has turned into a police state,” the spokesman said.
“JKLF also condemns the curfew politics and Police barbarism in South Kashmir,” the JKLF spokesman added.
