‘Kashmir Day’ being observed

Debates and declamations in schools and colleges throughout the provinces will be arranged by the Higher Education and Elementary Education Department.
According to details, people will observe Kashmir solidarity Day today to raise voice against excesses with Kashmiris. Rallies will be taken out.
Jamaat Islami women wing would organize Kashmir solidarity seminar. Similar functions would also be organised in Pishin, Loralai, Gwadar, Zhob, Chaman, Harnai, Jaffarabad, Nasirabad, Bela and other cities and towns. Leaders of Jamat and other parties would address.
Rahimdad Khan, Senior Minister will lead a procession in Peshawar to be organized by the Deputy Commissioner Peshawar.
Representative of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference will also take part in the procession.
Syed Ahmad Hussain Shah will represent the province at the Human Chain Function at Kohala Bridge.
Jamat-i-Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaqat Baloch on Monday strongly condemned ongoing human rights violations in Indian held Kashmir (IHK) by the Indian army and urged upon international community to take notice of these violations.
He stated this while addressing a Kashmir Conference and launching email awareness camping organized by Jamat-i-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) at National Press Club on Monday.
He said this is the internet era so we use these tools for highlighting the Kashmir issue all over the world.
He stressed upon the need that Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the wishes of Kashmiri people under the framework of UN resolutions.
He said that India was not sincere in the dialogue process on Kashmir issue and seemed that her tactics were to wasting time.
Noorul Bari Nib Amir Jamat-i-Islami Azad Kashmir, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman’ , Abdullah Gul, Mian Aslam and others in their speeches stressed the need for highlighting the Kashmir issue world wide and seek greater international support for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue.
