Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah has congratulated Mamnoon Hussain on taking over the charges of presidency of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Mamnoon Hussain is 12th constitutional president of Pakistan.

Shabir Shah in his message to new Pak President said that Government of Pakistan and its people have always supported the freedom movement of Kashmiris and Kashmiri nation is highly obliged to them. He also hoped that Pakistan will continue to extend all political, diplomatic and moral support to Kashmiris till Kashmir issue is not resolved as per the wishes and aspirations of its people.

Expressing deep anguish over the killing of innocent people by Indian forces Shah warned government of serious repercussions if the unjustified arrest spree is not stopped at earliest.

Meanwhile, Shah in a statement expressed solidarity and sympathy with the family of People’s League Chiarman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and has prayed for heavenly abode for the deceased.
