BJP candidate slaps PO in Srinagar today
Dec 15th, 2014 | Category: Kashmir NewsIn occupied Kashmir, in a major embarrassment to Hindu extremist Bharatiya Janata Party BJP, one of its candidates slapped an on-duty Polling Officer in Srinagar during polling for the so-called assembly elections, today.The BJP candidate, Hina Butt, fighting elections on Amira Kadal constituency, had to face wrath of National Conference workers, who witnessed the event in uptown Chana Pora area of the city.“Hina Butt visited a polling centre in Methan Lal Nagar to review polling where she slapped a polling officer. The move angered NC workers present at the polling centre,” the reports said.Butt then took refuge inside the polling centre after facing the wrath of angered political workers of the ruling party amid anti-BJP slogans while police were called in to rescue the BJP candidate.
