Concern expressed over settlement of non-Kashmiris in IOK

In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Kashmir Freedom Front (KFF), Syed Bashir Andrabi has expressed serious concern over the proposed settlement of non-Kashmiris in the territor.Syed Bashir Andrabi addressing a seminar in Pulwama said that it was a serious issue to be discussed so that the demography of the territory could remain unchanged and unaffected. He said that the entire Hurriyet leadership should sit on a table to evolve a joint protest programmes against such dangerous policies of the Indian government.

He said: “Such moves are fraught with dangers. If carried out, such decisions will be regarded as no less than a direct attack on the legal status of Jammu and Kashmir that all citizens of the territory irrespective of religion or region enjoy as permanent residents (State Subjects).”

Syed Bashir Andrabi warned the Indian government led by the BJP about the post-consequences of implementation of such drastic policies in Kashmir. He said if it happens its consequences will be very dangerous and for that it will the BJP-led government will be responsible

Others who participated in the seminar included its Vice Chairman, Mohammad. Akbar Dar, Molvi Mushtaq, Showkat Showkeen, Shameem Ahmad, Abdul Majeed, Riaz Ahmad, Zahoor Ahmad.
