Srinagar, January 17 : In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R (JKLF-R), Farooq Ahmad Dar has said that unresolved Kashmir dispute is the main cause of tension between Pakistan and India.Farooq Ahmad Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that further delay in settlement of the lingering dispute would bring more tension between the two neighbouring counties, which would also be dangerous for regional peace.

He said that India would never succeed in its sinister designs to suppress the ongoing liberation movement through use of brute force. He said that the morale of Kashmiri people was high and they were determined to take the movement to its logical conclusion, despite all odds.

Farooq Ahmad Dar demanded of the world community and the United Nations to put pressure on India to come forward and resolve the decades old Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of its people so that permanent peace could be established in the region.
