In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet Conference Jammu and Kashmir (HCJK) leader and National Front (NF) Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has said that Kashmir is an internationally-accepted dispute, which is to be resolved through peaceful talks.Nayeem khan in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Had Indian forces not landed in Kashmir 65 years ago, there would have been no tension on borders and bloody lines dividing peaceful Kashmiris.”

“The landing of Indian army in Kashmir created such an uncertainty in the whole South Asian region which has claimed thousands of lives, so far. New Delhi, which claims to be the largest democracy in the world is identified as a usurper in Jammu and Kashmir. If India is sincere to live peacefully with its neighbours, then it has to fulfill its promises made with the people of Kashmir,” he added.

“It is unfortunate that New Delhi is using oppressive measures against Kashmiris. The latest shameful act is the treatment which they meted out to the flood hit victims,” he deplored.
