JKIPP distributes relief items among flood victims

In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party distributed relief material among the flood affected families in Batwara and Pandrethan.

The JKIPP Chairman, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, along with party leaders and activists including Muhammad Ayub Dar, Mohsin Ahmad, Mudasir Ahmad Shah, Manzoor Ahmad and Sajjad Ahmad Lone distributed food items in the flood affected areas of Batwara and Pandrethan, said a statement issued by the party.

“Our party is committed to extending relief to our brothers in whatever way is possible for us. Our party also worked hard for rescuing our brethren,” Naqash said.

Meanwhile, medical camps were organized by Al-Abbas Relief Trust at Kawpora, Sumbal and Sonawari for flood victims. The camp was headed by Nasir Ansari.

On the other hand, a delegation led by Tehreek-e-Hurriyet General Secretary, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai visited the flood-hit areas of Islamabad and distributed relief among the affectees people. The team comprised Mohammad Yousuf Mujahid and Mir Hafizullah.

Another team comprising Raja Mehraj-ud-din and Syed Imtiyaz Haider distributed ration kits among the worst hit people of Suthrashahi.
