In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, has appealed the people to observe complete strike on October 27 and give a message to international community that Kashmiris are struggling for securing their right to self-determination.Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, while describing the London Million March to be held tomorrow (Sunday) in London, a timely right step, said that the claim of India being democratic is proving a fraud.

He said that New Delhi was suppressing the fundamental and birthright of the people of Kashmir by using brute force against them. He said that India could not delay the settlement of Kashmir dispute for a long and it had no option but to grant Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

Expressing satisfaction over rejecting the India’s demand of banning the Kashmir Million March by the British government, the veteran Hurriyet leader said that in the changing scenario, it was impossible for India to continue its policy of military might.

Syed Ali Gilani said that the people of Kashmir had not accepted the forcible occupation of Kashmir by India since 1947 and they had been continuously struggling for securing their right to self-determination. He said that India at national and international level had promised with Kashmiris that they would be granted their birthright but despite the passage of more than six decades the dispute was still pending with the Untied Nations.

Congratulating the organizers of the London Million March, the veteran Hurriyet leader said that the world would know through it that terrorism had no direct or direct link to the Kashmir liberation movement and the people of Kashmir were struggling for their genuine right. He said that the London Million March was causing frustration for the Indian rulers.
